For NHS, ICSs, and HSCNI
Connected care that clears procurement, integrates with what you already run, and lands with a Clinical Safety Officer beside it.
Halo Connected Health is designed to sit alongside your existing clinical record and resident management systems — not replace them. UK-hosted, UK GDPR-compliant, DSPT-aligned, with DCB 0129 / 0160 clinical safety documentation available under NDA. In pilot with a major Northern Ireland health and social care provider.
Procurement position
We take procurement seriously. On request under NDA, we provide:
- DPIA extract aligned to your ICO-templated DPIA
- Article 30 record of processing for the data flows you would be a controller of
- DSPT position (Data Security and Protection Toolkit) — current standards met, gaps documented
- ISO 27001 gap analysis — current control coverage and roadmap to certification
- DCB 0129 / DCB 0160 clinical safety documentation, produced with a nominated Clinical Safety Officer
- DPA template aligned to NHS Digital’s suggested wording, ready for redline
- Sub-processor register — full list of processors, purposes, and jurisdictional footprint
- Technical architecture — network diagram, encryption in transit and at rest, backup and DR posture
- Incident response plan — 72-hour breach notification workflow, RACI, contact register
- Insurance certificates — cyber, professional indemnity, employer’s liability
Integration position
Halo doesn’t force a rip-and-replace. Key integration surfaces:
- HL7 v2 messaging for demographic and observation data
- FHIR R4 for modern integrations (Patient, Observation, Encounter, Consent)
- NHS Number as a first-class identifier where consented and appropriate
- CIS / EPR integration — read-only or bidirectional, scoped per contract (integrations with named systems are quoted per project — see pricing)
- SSO via SAML 2.0 or OpenID Connect for staff authentication
- Audit event streaming to your SIEM or observability platform on request
We do not require you to route protected data through us to get value from the platform — the monitoring data lives with Halo; identifiers can stay pseudonymised at your edge.
Where Halo fits
For NHS trusts, ICSs and HSCNI, Halo typically supports:
Discharge-to-assess and step-down: continuous monitoring in the community or care home during the 6-week window post-discharge, with alerting back to the discharge team and community nursing.
Care home admissions from acute settings: standardised monitoring during the first 90 days when readmission risk is highest.
Supported-living monitoring: for adults with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs — reducing intrusive check-ins while giving staff the alert-based reassurance they need.
Home-based virtual wards (roadmap): remote monitoring at scale for defined pathways — congestive heart failure, COPD, post-surgical.
Community frailty pathways: passive activity, sleep and environmental monitoring layered on top of scheduled visits.
Deployment models
We support three deployment models for Enterprise-tier NHS/ICS/HSCNI customers:
Shared UK-hosted (default): AWS eu-west-2, dedicated database and application tier, shared underlying infrastructure. Full UK data residency. Fastest to onboard.
Dedicated tenancy: your own database, application tier and encryption keys. Isolated network. Roughly 4–6 weeks to provision.
On-premise or private cloud: for trusts with a hard requirement to keep data inside the trust perimeter or a designated HSC region. Longer engagement — typically 3–6 months to first go-live.
Every option supports the same clinical and administrative feature set; only the infrastructure boundary changes.
Framework and commercial position
We are actively pursuing listing on:
- NHS Shared Business Services frameworks
- Crown Commercial Service frameworks (G-Cloud, DOS)
- HSCNI regional frameworks
If you are procuring through a framework we are not yet on but sponsor a call-off, we can typically respond within the framework’s exception process. Tell us the framework you’d like to use in the demo request.
See our framework-aligned pricing for NHS, ICSs and HSCNI — including SLA-backed uptime, priority incident response, and the full procurement pack. Framework-specific quotes available on request.
Next steps
- Book a 20-minute demo → /request-demo/. Tell us the pathway or setting you’re evaluating. We’ll tailor the demo to it.
- Request the procurement pack under NDA. sales@haloconnectedhealth.com.
- Scope a pilot — typical shape: one setting, 3 months, no hardware buy commitment, priced at Pro tier. Post-pilot decision to scale, exit, or extend.
