For care homes
Care home technology your carers will actually use.
From the morning round to the CQC inspection, Halo gives care home managers and their teams one place to see what matters across every resident — without adding another login, another screen, or another thing to forget.
Designed alongside care home managers and senior carers. In pilot now with a major Northern Ireland health and social care provider.
Five things Halo does that other care software doesn’t
Not five buzzwords — five specific, concrete capabilities that came out of walking rounds with real senior carers, watching night shifts, and reading two years of shift-handover notes.
1. Reduces false alerts, doesn’t just count them
Every resident has an adaptive baseline that learns their normal — resting heart rate, sleep pattern, movement rhythm, bathroom pattern — over the first two weeks. Alerts only fire on deviations from THAT resident’s baseline, not a generic threshold. Result: 60–80% fewer false alerts than fixed-threshold systems in pilot data.
2. Handover works like an actual handover
The shift handover screen shows only what changed since last shift, ordered by severity, with a one-tap acknowledge. No more reading through 47 timestamped notes to figure out what actually needs your attention.
3. CQC inspection mode
One click builds an inspector-ready evidence pack for any resident, any date range: care plan changes, incident timeline, medication administration, staff observations, family communication. Print-ready or export as a PDF that maps directly onto the Fundamental Standards.
4. Talks to the devices you already have
Halo integrates with common wearables (Fitbit, Apple Watch, Withings), contactless sensors (Vayyar, Nobi), bedside monitors, environmental sensors and fall pendants. Bring what you have. We connect to it.
5. Family view (without the surveillance vibe)
Optional family view lets designated next-of-kin see high-level wellbeing indicators — sleep quality, activity level, mealtime engagement — without exposing raw sensor data or care notes. Reduces family calls to the home, and improves family confidence in your care.
Devices already integrated
You don’t need to buy Halo hardware. Halo works with the devices already in your home or the ones you’re planning to buy.
