About

A small UK team, building connected care that operators actually run.

Halo Connected Health is a product of DXN Design Ltd, a private limited company registered in Northern Ireland. We build the platform, we operate the infrastructure, we answer the emails. If you’re procuring, negotiating an SLA, or trying to work out whether Halo is a fit — the person on the call will be able to answer.

What we do

We build software for connected health monitoring in UK care settings. The product line:

  • The Halo platform — connected monitoring, alerts, care notes, audit trail. Live and used in a pilot with a major Northern Ireland health and social care provider.
  • Halo Monitoring Services (planned) — 24/7 managed clinical monitoring as an optional add-on for customers who want the platform and the human response layer.
  • Halo Family — the same platform packaged for families monitoring a relative at home. All-in bundle pricing so families aren’t asked to assemble five line items for one address.

We don’t build clinical software you use once and forget. We build platforms operators run every shift, every day.

Where we work

  • Registered office: 3 Avondale Drive, Ballyclare, County Antrim, BT39 9AU, United Kingdom
  • Companies House registration: NI684155
  • Data centre: AWS eu-west-2 (London). Your UK data stays in the UK.
  • Customers: care homes, supported-living schemes, home-care providers, and pilot NHS/HSCNI use. UK-wide.

What we believe

Not corporate values. Just what we run the company by.

Privacy by design, not by promise

UK GDPR isn’t a compliance checkbox — it’s the shape of how we designed the platform. Minimal PII collection, granular consent, comprehensive audit trail, procurement pack ready from day one.

Honest pricing

Software per person, per device, per install — every line visible on the pricing page. No hidden ramps, no surprise professional-services invoices, no forced enterprise upgrades to unlock basic features.

Real demos

A 20-minute call, live product against real resident data, no slide deck. If it’s a fit, we tell you. If it isn’t, we tell you that too and point you at something that might be.

Small team, close to the code

No sales-vs-engineering wall. The person you talk to about the platform can also change how it works.

Roadmap position

We are shipping the Halo platform into the pilot phase now. On the horizon:

  • Family portal (Q1 following pilot completion) — the app family members use to see wellbeing data with consent-aware access controls
  • Halo Monitoring Services — 24/7 managed clinical response, from £3 per person per month when live
  • AI-driven predictive healthcare (see predictive healthcare) — fall prediction, frailty scoring, infection detection, cognitive decline indicators — post-pilot with clinical partners
  • Enterprise integrations — deeper HL7/FHIR bindings with named NHS clinical record systems

Everything on this list is either shipped, in build, or on a dated roadmap. Nothing is vapourware.
