Cookie Policy
We use cookies sparingly on haloconnectedhealth.com. This page explains what cookies are, which ones we set, and how to manage them. Our analytics is cookieless — you don’t get tracked across sites.
Effective date: 6 July 2026 · Last updated: 6 July 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about your visit — such as your language preference, whether you’ve dismissed a banner, or whether you’re logged in. They can also be used for tracking across sites, which we don’t do.
Similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, pixels, fingerprinting) are covered by the same policy on this site.
Categories of cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies on this site by default. No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no third-party marketing cookies.
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function. We can’t turn these off. They typically include the Complianz consent record and any session token created by WordPress if you interact with a form.
- Functional — not currently used on this site.
- Analytics — we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and IP-anonymised. It doesn’t set any cookies. It doesn’t track you across sites.
- Marketing / advertising — not used.

Analytics detail
We use Plausible Analytics, hosted in the EU. Plausible:
- Sets no cookies
- Does not use fingerprinting
- Anonymises IP addresses at the point of collection
- Aggregates data so no individual visitor can be re-identified
- Publishes an open-source privacy policy: plausible.io/privacy
Because it doesn’t use cookies or track across sites, GDPR consent is not required to run it under the ICO’s current guidance. If that changes, we will update this policy and add a consent gate.
Managing your cookies
On our site: use the Complianz cookie banner at the bottom of any page. Click “Manage preferences” to change what you’ve accepted, or “Withdraw consent” to reset your choices. Your preferences are stored for 12 months.
In your browser: all modern browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Instructions:
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent forms working or block your cookie preferences from being remembered.
Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date. If we introduce a new category (functional, marketing) we will trigger a fresh Complianz consent prompt so you can review before accepting.
