The four ingredients of every quote
Add these together and you have a Halo quote. Nothing hidden.
Platform licence
A monthly fee per organisation. The tier gate — Starter, Pro or Enterprise. Sets what capabilities are turned on. Doesn’t scale with scale.
Per monitored person
The primary scaling unit. Every resident, patient or service-user under Halo counts. Empty beds don’t.
Per connected device
A small monthly fee that covers event ingestion, alert processing, storage and platform scaling. Rate depends on how much a device streams — a wearable costs less than a continuous bedside monitor.
Hardware & install
Devices bought outright as capex, or rented monthly as opex. Install and reinstall as one-off lines. Existing supported hardware connects at zero hardware cost.

Per monitored person
Someone under active Halo monitoring at any point in the calendar month. Discharges, transfers and pauses are pro-rated. Empty beds and vacant flats don’t count.

Annual pre-pay
Pay software licence + per-person + per-device 12 months upfront and get 2 months free (16.7% off). Hardware rental and one-off install unaffected.
Multi-year commitment
Commit to three years and take an additional 10% off the pre-pay price. Includes a fixed annual price cap.

Frequently asked
Why per device on top of per person?
Because a single resident with 15 devices in a big house genuinely costs more to serve (more events, more alert processing, more storage) than a resident with 3 devices. Splitting the price keeps it honest and lets home-care setups scale linearly with what they actually use.
Do you charge for empty beds or vacant flats?
No. Per-person is billed on active monitored people at month-end.
What if we already own compatible hardware?
Connect it. Zero hardware cost, small per-device monthly fee, and you’re live.
Can we mix bought and rented hardware?
Yes. Buy the sensors you’ll keep for years, rent the wearables that get more wear.
Is VAT included?
No. All prices exclude VAT.
Can we start with a paid pilot?
Yes. Typical pilot: 3 months, one site, no hardware buy commitment. Rented hardware or bring-your-own. Priced at Starter or Pro depending on scope.
What’s the minimum contract?
12 months for Starter and Pro. Enterprise is bespoke. Family bundle is monthly rolling with 30-day notice.
How do you handle price rises?
Annual CPI cap during any active commitment period. Multi-year deals include a fixed cap in the contract.
