The Halo platform
One integrated platform. Every dimension of care.
Halo brings intelligent IoT sensors, wearable devices, environmental monitoring, secure cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, web dashboards and healthcare APIs into a single connected health platform. Designed for clinicians, carers, families and healthcare authorities working across the full continuum of care.
Every role gets the surface built for their job
Web dashboard — clinicians & operations
Full patient/resident register, alert triage queue, care plan editor, audit trail, analytics — everything in one browser tab.
Mobile app — carers & clinicians on the floor
Round view, real-time alerts, one-tap acknowledgement, quick notes, medication check, resident quick-view. Works offline, syncs when back on signal.
Family view
Optional web + iOS/Android view for approved next-of-kin. High-level wellbeing indicators, not raw sensor data. Family messaging with your care team, gated by staff.
Monitoring centre view
For 24/7 monitoring hubs supporting multiple homes. Aggregated queue, escalation workflows, hand-off logs, per-facility SLA tracking.
APIs & webhooks
REST + webhook + MQTT ingestion for device manufacturers. Every integration is per-device credentialled — no shared secrets across an organisation.
Core capabilities
Device-agnostic ingestion
HTTP polling, MQTT subscription, or webhook receipt — Halo speaks all three. Per-device credentials, HMAC-verified webhooks, mTLS available for MQTT.
Adaptive baselines per resident
Each resident’s vitals baseline is learned over the first 14 days and continuously refined. Alerts fire on deviation from THAT resident, not a population mean.
Care context modelling
Facility-based care, home care, supported living, and transitions between all three. Residents keep full history when they move settings.
Audit-first architecture
Every read of resident data is logged, not just writes. Immutable audit log in S3 Object Lock. Available to CQC / regulator on request.
Notification routing
Per-user preferences: channel (push / SMS / email / voice), severity threshold, quiet hours, per-resident scope.
Family & clinician messaging
In-app messaging between next-of-kin and care team, gated per resident, audited, and archived.
